The Wisconsin men's hockey team got blasted 7-2 by Penn State on Saturday night.

After a scoreless first period, the Nittany Lions piled on three goals in the second.

Carson Bantle got the Badgers on the board with 18:50 left in the third period and scored again to cut the deficit to one goal before the wheels fell off.

Penn State scored four answered to secure its second win over Wisconsin in as many nights.

The Badgers will look to get back in the win column when they return to the ice Jan. 28 against Michigan.
