The NBA Finals are set to begin which means the league’s offseason will be here before you know it.
That means the draft (in three weeks!) and roster moves occurring as well. The salary cap is expected to be around $134 million with the luxury tax at $162 million.
As things stand for the Milwaukee Bucks, they have only six players with guaranteed contracts currently on the roster although there are two players who can exercise options.
There’s a number of free agents – will the Bucks bring any back? Milwaukee is armed this offseason with the ability to use a non-taxpayer mid-level exception (roughly $12.2 million) and a bi-annual exception (around $4.5 million).
It will be interesting to see how general manager Jon Horst tries to reconstruct the roster as the Bucks look to rebound from a tough playoff exit after finishing with the best regular season record in the NBA.
