The Milwaukee Bucks added another player to the fold Friday, signing Northern Iowa's AJ Green to a two-way contract.

The 6-foot-4 Green started 31 games for the Panthers last season and averaged 18.8 points while shooting 38.8% from 3. He was named the MVC Player of the Year as well as first-team All-MVC.

Green declared for the draft although left open the possibility of transferring, with Iowa State and Duke mentioned as possible destinations, but after the NBA combine decided to turn pro.

He missed all but three games of the 2020-21 season due to a hip injury. Green was a first-team All-MVC and Player of the Year in 2019-20 as a sophomore, when he averaged 19.7 points and shot 39.1% from downtown.

In his four seasons at Northern Iowa, Green appeared in 99 games -- starting all 99 -- and averaging 17.9 points.

The Bucks ended last season with Sandro Mamukelashvilli and Lindell Wigginton signed to two-way deals.Mamukelashvilli remains on his two-way contract.
