The Milwaukee Bucks traded, among other assets, their first-round pick this year in getting P.J. Tucker from the Houston Rockets.

Judging by the big parade which took place last week we’d say that deal worked out just fine.

Houston actually had the option to swap its second rounder for the Bucks’ first-round selection, which it obviously did, albeit it moved them up all of … one spot.

Milwaukee holds the No. 31 overall pick – the first selection in the second round – in Thursday’s 2021 NBA draft.

Provided the Bucks don’t look to deal that selection, who might they grab? There’s a lot of mock drafts out there – and some even project into the second round. We found a bunch of them and offer up their predictions for Milwaukee below:

Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer: Ayo Dosunmu, G, Illinois. “League sources say Milwaukee is exploring the market for veteran upgrades using this pick. But if the Bucks keep it, then Dosunmu would be a good target. He’s a gritty defender who can handle the ball, and would provide another playmaking presence on the team. But he may not even make it to the second round. Dosunmu is one of those prospects whose draft stock is all over the place, with projections varying from 15 to 40. Dosunmu is just one of the many examples of a draft that has no consensus and is all about individual team preferences.”

Jeremy Woo of SI.com: Ayo Dosunmu, G, Illinois.

Sam Veceinie of The Athletic ($): Day’Ron Sharpe, C, North Carolina.

Krysten Peek of Yahoo Sports: Josh Christopher, G, Arizona State.

Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report: JT Thor, PF, Auburn.

NBA Draft Room: Quentin Grimes, SG, Houston. “Grimes is a powerful combo guard who has broad shoulders and plays with a lot of speed and bounce. Is moving up in the post season/draft process.”

Cody Taylor of Rookie Wire: Ayo Dosunmu, G, Illinois
