The Milwaukee Brewers took an early lead and held on to beat the Chicago Cubs 5-3 on Sunday.
Luke Voit and Brice Turang got the party started for the Brewers with back-to-back home runs off Cubs starter Adrian Sampson in the second inning. Both shots were their first home runs of Spring Training.
Janson Junk struck out two in three innings of scoreless work, allowing only one hit. Robert Gasser fanned three in his two innings of relief. Gus Varland struggled in his one inning of action, allowing two runs on two hits.
Cam Devanney drove in a run on a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning.
The Brewers will take on the Cincinnati Reds on Monday, March 13th.
