The Milwaukee Brewers got back one of their opening-day catchers Saturday, activating Manny Piña from the injured list.

Left-hander Brent Suter was placed on the bereavement list to make room for Pina. Suter pitched Friday night before having to leave with a cramp in his right calf.

Piña had been on the 10-day DL with a torn meniscus in his right knee. He hasn't played since April 26.

On the season, Piña, the longest-tenured Brewers player now in his sixth season with the team, is 4-for-25 in 10 games.

The Brewers have three catchers on their roster currently, as Piña joins Luke Maile and Jacob Nottingham. Omar Navarez remains on the injured list.

Milwaukee continues its series in Miami on Saturday. The game will be televised by Bally Sports Wisconsin beginning with Brewers live at 4:30 p.m.
