Two familiar faces will be back roaming the Green Bay secondary in 2023. On Monday, the Packers announced they have re-signed safety Rudy Ford and cornerback Corey Ballentine.

Terms of the deals were not released by the team.

Ford was signed by the Packers at the end of last August and appeared in all 17 games last season. Ford started six of those contests, a career high, and registered 40 tackles with three interceptions. The veteran safety logged 42.79% of the snaps on defense for Green Bay and was critical in the second half of the season.

Ballentine was signed to Green Bay's practice squad last September and was bumped up to the active roster in November.

Ballentine spent most of his time playing on special teams for the Packers and played just 17 snaps on defense. The fifth-year cornerback had four tackles and a forced fumble on special teams in 2022.
