The Green Bay Packers will have to make do without David Bakhtiari for their game Sunday in Chicago.
The veteran offensive lineman was declared out after undergoing an appendectomy.
Bakhtiari missed the first two games of the season while working his way back from a torn ACL suffered at the end of the 2020 season. He didn’t play every offensive snap until Week 8 and had done so in each of the last three games as well.
In better health news, linebacker De’Vondre Campbell and wide receiver Romeo Doubs were both listed as questionable.
Campbell, who hasn’t played since Week 8, has 64 tackles this season in eight games. He was named a first-team All-Pro last season, his first with the Packers.
Doubs, a fourth-round pick in 2022, has missed the last three games. He has 31 receptions for 314 yards with a touchdown.
In addition, safety Darnell Savage, who appeared in just one play in Sunday night’s loss in Philadelphia before exiting with an injury, was listed as doubtful.
