Bally Sports Wisconsin

Every Thursday this season Bally Sports Wisconsin takes a closer look at some specific young players in the Milwaukee Brewers’ farm system -- as well as noting others who might be stepping up -- measuring, highlighting and evaluating their progress.

Notable: It’s been a slow start to the 2023 season for Milwaukee’s top prospect (and one of the top prospects in all of MLB) but he showed signs of why he’s ranked so highly this past week. After going hitless in four straight games, Chourio put together a four-game hit streak which included a walk-off, three-run home run May 26, three hits and two steals May 27, a double and homer May 28 and another double May 30. He then tossed a season-high 73 pitched in allowing one run in four innings May 31. In six May starts, opponents slashed just .101/.230/.174 against Misiorowski.
