Notable: Ruiz saw his six-game hit streak come to an end but he’s still hitting .364/.462/.636 in September. Ruiz now has 80 steals combined in the minors this season (including 10 in 11 games this month). Since 2010 he’s just the sixth minor leaguer to reach that total, joining Delino DeShields (2012), Billy Hamilton (2011 and ’12), Micah Johnson (2013), Jorge Mateo (2015), Rico Noel (2012) and Mallex Smith (2014). Ruiz is the only one of that group to have played in Triple-A.
