ANGELS, BALLY SPORTS WEST AND KLAA AM830 ANNOUNCE 2023 SPRING TRAINING BROADCAST SCHEDULE
26 Games Will Be Available on Bally Sports West and the Bally Sports app
ANAHEIM – The Angels, Bally Sports West and KLAA AM830, today announced the Angels 2023 Cactus League broadcast schedule. KLAA AM830 will deliver game coverage for all 30 game days on the schedule, with 26 games available on Bally Sports West as well as the Bally Sports app. For split squad dates (March 5 & March 21), the home games will be featured on the broadcasts.
Bally Sports West’s Angels Spring Training telecasts from Tempe, AZ will feature new Angels play-by-play announcer Wayne Randazzo who will rotate with Patrick O’Neal and AM830’s Trent Rush. Similarly, Mark Gubicza, Denny Hocking and Bobby Valentine will split time providing analysis. Angels in-game reporter Erica Weston will contribute reports, rotating with Rush. Terry Smith, entering his 22nd season on the Angels broadcast team, will call the action for the radio broadcasts on AM830.
When the Angels return home to Southern California for the “Freeway Series” exhibition games, Gubicza will be joined by Randazzo for all three game telecasts. Each of the three exhibition games will be bookended by “Angels Live” pre- and post-game coverage featuring Weston along with O’Neal, Gubicza, and Valentine.
