Two players linked to Minnesota coach Kevin O'Connell agreed to terms Wednesday to join the Vikings.

The duo is wide receiver/return specialist Brandon Powell and linebacker Troy Reeder. Both were part of the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams team in 2021 that featured O'Connell in his final season as offensive coordinator.

Powell, 27, is a former undrafted free agent out of Florida. He started his NFL career in 2018 with Detroit, played for Atlanta in 2020, and spent the past two seasons with the Rams.

In 2022, Powell, primarily used as a kickoff and punt returner, set career highs in several receiving categories: catches (24), targets (32) and yards (156).

Powell has appeared in 44 career games. He's fielded 49 punts for 470 yards (9.6 avg.) and a touchdown, and returned 57 kickoffs for 1,199 yards (21.0 avg.) across parts of four seasons.

Reeder, 6-foot-3, 245 pounds, is a 28-year-old undrafted product of Delaware who started 10 of 17 games for Los Angeles during its championship-winning campaign two seasons ago.

In 2022, Reeder appeared in 17 games for the other L.A. squad, the Chargers, making 11 tackles in 62 defensive snaps.

Over his first three seasons in the NFL, Reeder played in 49 games (25 starts) and tallied 230 tackles, 5.0 sacks and two interceptions for the Rams.
