After recently agreeing to a deal with running back Alexander Mattison to keep him in Minnesota, the Vikings are making sure another piece returns to the mix in the backfield. On Wednesday, the team agreed to a two-year deal with fullback C.J. Ham per Ham's agents at Team IFA.
The deal is for two years and beyond that, terms were not released.
Ham went undrafted in 2016 and signed with the Vikings. The fit worked out for both sides and Minnesota's running back turned fullback has been with the team ever since.
For his career, Ham has 36 rushes for 97 yards and three touchdowns. He's been effective in the receiving game during his stay with the Vikings boasting career numbers of 70 receptions for 610 yards and two touchdowns.
With Ham and Mattison back in the fold a lot of attention will turn towards running back Dalvin Cook and his future with Minnesota.
