With their second pick of the second round in the NFL draft, the Minnesota Vikings fortified their offensive line by selecting LSU guard Ed Ingram.
Ingram was chosen with the No. 59 overall pick, which was acquired earlier in the day in a trade with Green Bay.
A four-year starter, Ingram appeared in 45 games with the Tigers. He made 22 starts at left guard and 12 at right guard.
Named second-team All-SEC in 2021, Ingram, 6-foot-4, 307 pounds, allowed four sacks but none last season. He committed just three penalties, with just one holding call – which occurred back in 2017.
