Dayne St. Clair racked up four saves and the Minnesota United peppered a couple late shots on goal but ultimately fell on Saturday 1-0 to New York City FC.

Alexander Callens scored on a header and it was all the offense NYCFC ended up needing.

United had a golden opportunity early on in the fourth minute but couldn't hammer it home. United did find the back of the net in the 53rd minute but the goal was waved off immediately as numerous Minnesota players were offsides.

The loss dropped Minnesota to 5-6-3 on the season.
