Smeltzer appeared in one game after being recalled Saturday and pitched three inning against the Rangers on Saturday.
Sanchez has made 10 starts for St. Paul this season, going 3-2 with a 3.80 ERA. He's made one start for the Twins which came back on Aug. 1 against the Detroit Tigers.
