The Minnesota Twins recalled left-handed pitcher Brandon Waddell from Triple-A St. Paul on Monday.

To make room for Waddell on the roster, right-hander Randy Dobnak was optioned to the Saints.

Waddell has appeared in two games for the Twins this season, April 8 and April 14, pitching three scoreless innings.

Dobnak has allowed 13 runs in 14 1/3 innings in seven relief appearances. He last pitched Saturday, going three innings in a loss to Kansas City.

The Twins open a four-game series with Texas on Monday night. All the games will be televised by Bally Sports North starting Monday with Twins Live at 6 p.m.
