After a five-game absence, Sylvia Fowles will return to the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday night.

Fowles had been out due to a cartilage injury in her right knee but was cleared to play against Phoenix.

Recently named a starter in the WNBA All-Star Game, Fowles, playing in her 15th and final season, is averaging 16.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks in 12 games while leading the league in field-goal percentage (64.1%) as well as rebounds per game.

In a corresponding move, forward Nikolina Milic was released from her hardship contract. Milic averaged 6.9 points and 3.1 rebounds in 17 games for the Lynx this season.

Minnesota hosts the Mercury at 7 p.m. The game can be seen on Bally Sports North and the Bally Sports app.but was cleared to play against Phoenix.
