A pair of veteran NHL forwards, James Neal and Michael Frolik, will join the St. Louis Blues at training camp after signing professional tryout contracts with the club.

Both players have played in 13 NHL seasons.

Neal, 34, tallied 10 points (five goals, five assists) in 29 games with Edmonton last season. He previously played with Dallas, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Vegas and Calgary and has totaled 555 points (294 goals, 261 assists) in 850 NHL regular-season games.

Frolik, 33, played eight games with the Montreal Canadiens and two with the AHL’s Laval Rocket last season. He has accumulated 384 points (159 goals, 225 assists) in 858 career regular-season games with Florida, Chicago, Winnipeg, Calgary, Buffalo and Montreal.
