The Minnesota Twins made another move to their bullpen Saturday, recalling right-hander Derek Law from Triple-A St. Paul and sending down right-hander Cody Stashak.

To make room on the 40-man roster for Law, Travis Blankenhorn was designated for assignment.

Law signed this past offseason with Minnesota as a minor-league free agent. He last pitched in the majors with Toronto in 2019, posting a 4.90 ERA, 1.665 WHIP and 9.9 K/9 over 60 2/3 innings. Law also pitched for San Francisco from 2016-18.

Law appeared in eight spring training games for the Twins, tossing eight shutout innings with three hits and three walks allowed while recording 13 strikeouts. He pitched in one game for the Saints this year, pitching one scoreless inning.

Stashak has appeared in 12 games for Minnesota this season, allowing 10 runs in 10 2/3 innings.

A third-round pick in 2015, Blankenhorn, a second baseman, made his MLB debut in 2020, appearing in one game and going 1-for-3 with a double and hit by pitch. He appeared as a pinch runner this year on April 21 and score da run but also made an error in the field.

The Twins take on Detroit on Saturday at 3 p.m. The game can be seen on Bally Sports North starting with Twins Live at 2:30 p.m.
