Kawhi Leonard is now in the music game.

On Monday, the NBA superstar announced that he was working on a new music project called Culture Jam. The project will feature a song from NBA YoungBoy & Rod Wave as well as a music video featuring high school basketball sensation Mikey Williams.

“The Culture Jam project, it’s just merging hip-hop and basketball together," Kawhi stated in a recent Instagram Live session with Williams. "Coming from our background, it goes hand in hand."

Kawhi elaborated further on the project following Tuesday's 105-100 win over the Toronto Raptors, where he returned to the court following a five-game absence (right foot soreness).

“It’s just something that can uplift our community," Leonard told reporters. "A portion of each stream is going to go to the Mamba and Mambacita Foundation. It’s just something good for the community... [I've] been working on the project for the last six, seven, eight months."

The Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating positive impact for underserved athletes and young women in sports. It was founded through the vision and loving memory of Kobe and Gianna ''Gigi'' Bryant.
