One of the true delights of the WNBA is watching the ball movement. Point guards turn assists into artwork. In honor of that, Bally Sports will look at some of the best dimes every week and crown one the very prestigious honor of Dime of the Week.

Let’s start with the season opener. The Los Angeles Sparks beat the Chicago Sky in overtime, and this sequence with Brittney Sykes blocking the Sky’s shot on one end of the court, then getting back down the court in time to dish the ball to Nneka Ogwumike, was outstanding.

Or it could be one of these behind-the-back dishes, with the first coming in the Las Vegas Aces' loss to the Washington Mystics. The Point Gawd herself, Chelsea Gray, with the serve to A’ja Wilson.

Chicago rebounded from its loss to Los Angeles with an 83-50 win over New York, which included this behind the back from the five-time assists leader, Courtney Vandersloot to Candace Parker.

But the winner is this one, from Indiana Fever rookie Destanni Henderson.

Henderson was helping the South Carolina Gamecocks win the NCAA national championship just over a month ago. Since then, she was drafted 20th overall by the Fever, moved to a new city and new team, and immediately started making an impact. She’s started all three games, has a total of 13 assists, and has shown just how fun Indiana can be to watch this season.
