The St. Louis Blues will be without two of their top players when they face the Minnesota Wild Saturday night.
Head coach Craig Berube announced following Saturday's morning skate that forward Vladimir Tarasenko and defenseman Torey Krug will be out against the Wild. Tarasenko will miss his second straight game with a lower-body injury, while Krug will miss his first game this season due to an upper-body injury.
Tarasenko has been limited to 23 games this season due to various injuries, most notably a shoulder that required offseason surgery and delayed his season debut until March 6. He has four goals and 10 assists.
Krug has just one goal in his first season with the Blues but ranks second on the team and first among defensemen with 28 assists. He's likely to be replaced in the lineup by Jake Walman on Saturday night.
