The St. Louis Cardinals announced their anticipated 26-man Opening Day roster along with other roster moves on Saturday.

Top prospect Jordan Walker is expected to be repping the Birds on the Bat at Busch Stadium on Opening Day as part of the 26-man roster. The 20-year-old burst onto the spring training scene with early displays of power and the ability to get on base, batting .286 with 18 hits, three home runs, nine RBIs and a .816 OPS.

INF Taylor Motter was selected from the Memphis roster, and he was added to the 40-man roster. The 33-year-old had three home runs and six RBIs this spring.

The St. Louis Cardinals expected 26-man Opening Day roster is as follows:

PITCHERS

Miles Mikolas, Jack Flaherty, Jordan Montgomery, Steven Matz, Jake Woodford, Giovanny Gallegos, Ryan Helsley, Jordan Hicks, Packy Naughton, Andre Pallante, Chris Stratton, Zack Thompson and Drew VerHagen

CATCHERS

Willson Contreras and Andrew Knizner

INFIELDERS

Nolan Arenado, Brendan Donovan, Tommy Edman, Paul Goldschmidt, Nolan Gorman and Taylor Motter

OUTFIELDERS

Alec Burleson, Dylan Carlson, Lars Nootbaar, Tyler O'Neill and Jordan Walker

Adam Wainwright, Paul DeJong and RHP Wilking Rodríguez will all begin the season on the injured list.

The Cardinals optioned left-handed relievers Génesis Cabrera and JoJo Romero and INF/OF Juan Yepez to Triple-A Memphis.
