Bally Sports Midwest has hired Alexa Datt as a host and reporter for its coverage of the St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Cardinals.

A Maryland native and graduate of the University of Maryland, Datt spent nearly five years at both NHL Network and MLB Network, where she hosted NHL On The Fly and The Rundown. She also served as an in-game reporter on MLB telecasts, as well as college basketball. Her previous experience includes time as a producer, host and reporter at NBC Sports Mid-Atlantic, Bleacher Report and SportsNet New York. In addition, she hosts the Datt’s What She Said with Dani podcast, which features interviews with some of the biggest names in baseball.

Datt is scheduled to make her St. Louis debut in early December.
