The Royals scored early and added on often as Kansas City rolled to a 10-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday. The Royals improved to 10-2 in the Cactus League.

Michael Massey hit his second home run of the spring that put the Royals on top 1-0 in the first inning. Kansas City never looked back, scoring runs up and down the lineup throughout the game.

Freddy Fermin helped fuel the offense with a two-hit, two-RBI day. Dairon Blanco and Edward Olivares each went 2 for 2.

Olivares capped the Royals' scoring with a solo home run in the eighth.

Brady Singer was stellar in his start. In three scoreless innings he allowed two hits and had five strikeouts. Daniel Lynch gave up one run on one hit and two walks over the next three innings. He had four strikeouts.

The Royals take the field next against the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday night. Coverage begins at 7 p.m. on Bally Sports Kansas City.
